New burglary at a PSG player. Two people were placed in custody on Tuesday, suspected of having participated in November in the break-in committed at the home of Presnel Kimpembe, in the Yvelines, said the prosecutor of Versailles to AFP. The burglary took place on November 25 in Noisy-le-Roi, said the prosecutor's office, confirming information from the Parisian. According to a source close to the case, the damage would be estimated at 5,000 euros.

Their custody, begun in the morning, was in progress Tuesday afternoon, at the gendarmerie brigade of Noisy-le-Roi, a small town located between Versailles and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

Burglaries in spades at PSG players

Two days after the burglary of the home of the 27-year-old French international defender, it is the home of former PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic that had been burgled, also in the Yvelines, for an estimated damage of 80,000 euros.

In January, the Versailles Criminal Court sentenced two men to prison for the burglary of the family of PSG Brazilian captain Marquinhos in March 2021 in the Yvelines.

Presnel Kimpembe's season ended at the end of February with his serious Achilles tendon injury during Paris Saint-Germain's win over Olympique de Marseille. He had previously missed the World Cup in Qatar due to injury.
