At a time when influencers show that with enough finesse and tenacity you can really bring any product to the buyers, Hollywood celebrities are increasingly drawn to the entrepreneurial industry. Rihanna sells makeup, Kate Hudson sportswear, Ryan Reynolds gin. All relatively normal. And then there are wellness and lifestyle labels like those of model Kate Moss or actress Gwyneth Paltrow. While the former caused a stir last year with the sale of "sacred fragrance fog", the latter has mainly focused on the legendary female sexuality. Among other things, her company Goop already offered a scented candle that should smell like the vagina of the Oscar winner, and a supposedly health-promoting vaginal egg made of jade.

In this curious series, reality star Kourtney Kardashian Barker has recently taken position. With her line "Lemme", founded in September last year, the oldest of the 5K sisters from the entrepreneurial family Kardashian-Jenner sells vitamin gummies and herbal supplements. Not an easy start, because especially her billionaire sisters Kim Kardashian ("SKIMS", "KKW") and Kylie Jenner ("Kylie Cosmetics") is difficult to fool entrepreneurially. It took something special to attract the attention of consumers: the vaginal wellness wine gum "Lemme Purr".

The fruit gums consist of pineapple extract, vitamin C and clinically studied probiotics, according to Kardashian. It is taken orally and is said to promote vaginal health, improve the pH of the vaginal flora and provide fresh fragrance and taste. The yellow-orange drops are also vegan, gluten- and gelatin-free. A can with 60 gummies costs the equivalent of just under 30 euros. The 43-year-old entrepreneur justifies the idea for "Lemme Purr" with the fact that "the vaginal microbiome is sensitive and can easily be disturbed". The probiotic components of the wine gum should contribute to a balance of the vaginal flora. Probiotics are products that contain viable microorganisms such as lactic acid bacteria or yeasts.

For the launch of her latest fruit gums, Kourtney Kardashian posted a video on her Instagram profile in which she puts a gum in her mouth, surrounded by cats. The clip was also published on the "Lemme" account. Underneath it reads: "Give your vagina the sweet pleasure it deserves (and make it a sweet pleasure)." Vaginal health is an important part of a woman's overall well-being, but it is not talked about enough. It continues: "You know what you say ... You are what you eat."

Whether Kourtney Kardashian was inspired by the myth that sperm can also be changed in taste when men drink a lot of pineapple juice is unknown.
