The marital dispute has assumed worrying proportions. On Sunday, around 11 am, police officers were called to the Izards district of Toulouse. A 28-year-old woman had just injured her husband in the head with a butcher's leaf. Immediately taken into custody, the suspect said she had acted in self-defence after being beaten and strangled. A credible version, which in turn led the 38-year-old man to custody, after a passage to care.
In light of the case, the prosecutor's office chose to refer the two members of the couple to the criminal court for "mutual violence". The hearing date has been set for February 2, 2024.
