The wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, affirmed that the UAE's experience in the field of child protection and support has become one of the exemplary experiences to be emulated, not only at the regional level, but at the global level, by providing children with the basic components, services and legislation, which ensured that preparing generations capable of assuming responsibility and leading the development process is part of of the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the country within various sectors.

On the occasion of the Emirati Children's Day, which falls on March 15 of each year, Her Highness explained that "what the UAE has achieved in the field of child care and attention to young people stems from the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and their brothers, Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council of the Union and Rulers of the Emirates, and its firm belief in investing in human beings and providing all health, educational, educational and social factors, to be able to give and exert, in order to preserve on the march of progress and prosperity."

Her Highness praised the tireless efforts and great achievements of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (Mother of the Nation), in supporting the childhood and motherhood system at the state level, through the development of programs to provide social, educational and health care for children as the basis of the future, and the most important pillars necessary to consolidate the foundations of a developed society, blessed with the causes of progress and prosperity.

Her Highness continued: "Child care efforts in the UAE have made advanced strides in which they have moved from the stage of guaranteeing the basic rights of the child, to the stage of empowerment and shaping the future of future generations, with what it has provided to him at all levels, and even the aspects of care extended to discovering and encouraging talented young people, and creating a supportive environment for creators and innovators, since the founding stages, while developing a legislative and legal system that guarantees the protection of children and contributes to raising awareness of their rights."

Her Highness continued: "The UAE's experience has become one of the inspiring global experiences to be emulated in the field of child care, at a time when the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood is at the forefront of the official authorities concerned with launching awareness programs on children's rights, in cooperation with ministries and federal authorities, to raise the level of care provided to children and protect them, through a package of civilized projects and initiatives, according to a harmonious system aimed at graduating generations that contribute to raising the status of their society and country."

Her Highness pointed to the National Strategy for Childhood and Motherhood, launched by the UAE, as a basic reference for decision-makers in the field of childhood at the state level, as the strategy seeks to promote the right of children and mothers to comprehensive care within a sustainable healthy environment, promote the right of children and adolescents to high-quality learning opportunities, in addition to supporting their active participation in all fields, and planning policies and programs to be based on accurate evidence and information that guarantees children's rights.
