In the glossy pages of Vogue, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's wedding seemed idyllic. Swept away the rumors of disagreements between the bride, who wore a Valentino dress, and her mother-in-law, the stylist Victoria Beckham. Only, behind the scenes, the varnish has cracked more than once and everyone is now in court. The bride's father, billionaire Nelson Peltz, decided to file a lawsuit against wedding planners.

He accuses Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design Events of leaving them behind a month before the wedding. The two young women were the second to be hired by the Peltz family, after Preston Bailey (who is used to requests from the rich and famous for having worked with Oprah Winfrey or Mariah Carey and the Trump family) decided to throw in the towel after almost a year of organization.

The guest list, a puzzle for everyone

It is therefore six weeks before the scheduled date that the new organizers have taken things in hand. However, the managers of Plan Design Events discovered long before that they "could not offer the quality to which the Peltz family was accustomed", as their predecessor had diplomatically filmed. After nine days, they gave up. A resignation that, according to Nelson Peltz, forced him to hire a third wedding planner, and a month before the wedding, the fees were "substantially higher". He is seeking bail of $159,000 and reimbursement of his legal costs, according to Page Six, which has seen court documents.

In addition to retaining bail for damage to their brand, Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba responded to the billionaire's complaint, claiming $50,000. They also accuse him of moral harassment. Nelson Peltz and the organizers have added, as proof of what they are each claiming, screenshots of their text exchanges. And it's gratin!

A three-day wedding at $3 million

Thus, it can be read that the bride-to-be loses her nerves about the guest list. Among other posts in this discussion group is a guest list edited regularly by Nicola Peltz. A marriage – or "shit" in his words – that Nelson Peltz would have liked to annul.

The bride-to-be and her mother also reportedly asked that the Beckhams, and especially Victoria, not only know about the chaos, but also Brooklyn. "I have no confidence in Brooklyn [about organizing the wedding]. You should ask an assistant. He is only assuming," reads a message attributed to Nicola Peltz. According to Plan Design Events, the Beckham list was "perfectly organized with all the necessary contacts", unlike the Peltzes. The mother of the bride-to-be also reportedly requested that the extra costs of the wedding be hidden from her husband.

For his part, the billionaire suggests that the organizers were drinking during work and that they did not have the required skills.

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's three-day wedding, which took place on April 9, 2022, cost more than $3 million.
