Hyundai has hired a new production job for the first time in 10 years, and interest is hot. On the first day of application, the recruitment website stopped, and it is said that the number of applicants exceeded 400,10 even after 10 people were selected. Because of the high salary and good in-house welfare, job seekers often refer to Hyundai production jobs as "kingsan jobs," and as much as there is such a keen interest, there are endless unconfirmed rumors and noises surrounding hiring.

UBC reporter Hyeji Shin contributed to this report.

"Hyundai Motor Company's production job document selection criteria," a photo was sent to a reporter by an informant.

There are several items on this rubric, such as attendance, grades, and certification scores, including an "extra point" item that gives you up to 10 points.

It is argued that 5 points for long-serving children, children of veterans and non-regular workers in the company, and children of union members who die of illness while in service receive <> points each.

The material also appeared on the anonymous workplace app "Blind" over the weekend, which was posted under the title "Current Production Worker Document Screening Chirashi" and has now been deleted and cannot be verified.

There was also controversy over the 'recommendation column' that could be used on resumes for permanent hires.

Although it is a separate recruitment from this production job recruitment, it is argued that it can serve as a reference in the selection process.

[Yoo Hong-sun/Hyundai Motor Company's irregular branch chairman: If you log in with your ID and enter, the ID is alive, and if you write down the recommendation column, whether it's a technical job or whatever, the company can see everything.]

In response, Hyundai dismissed that various materials circulating as document standards are not true at all, and that there is no additional point system in document screening.

In addition, "In order to prevent various misunderstandings, we have removed the recommendation column from the current permanent recruitment, and resumes submitted by applicants in the past are not subject to reference for this recruitment."

Hyundai Motor Company stated that it is doing its best to ensure fair hiring, such as conducting this hiring with the audit team.
