Soyeon, a singer from the group Tiara who is married to soccer player Cho Yoo-min (of Daejeon Hana Citizen) and lives in Daejeon, revealed that she was evacuated due to a fire at a Hankook Tire factory in Daejeon.
On the 13th, Soyeon posted on her social media, "My house smelled so bad because of the smoke, so I evacuated the house and came out in a hurry. I don't know if there is a hotel where I can take Totoro (dog) all of a sudden." They also released a video taken while passing by the scene of the fire as the flames roared.
Soyeon continued, "The family of the apartment resident who was evacuated together came to the hotel closest to the apartment and evacuated the fire," adding, "It was windy today, so the fire must have been bigger
. It's too bad."

However, Soyeon explained that she was denied entry to the hotel because of her dog and returned to the front of the house. Soyeon said, "I can't see the fire very well, but all the police are controlling it, and the smoke and smell are getting worse, and my eyes are all burning," and she said, "Yu Min has an early schedule for tomorrow, and we think we should sleep in the car as soon as possible."
Fortunately, Soyeon said, "While we were wandering around looking for a hotel where we could get in, we ended up at the house of Lee Jin-hyun, who called us and gave us the house. I'm so grateful," he said, thanking the people around him who were willing to lend a helping hand. He said, "We will continue to pray for a speedy recovery from the accident."
Meanwhile, at 10:9 p.m. that night, a fire broke out at the Hankook Tire plant in Moksang-dong, Daejeon, Daejeon. The fire caused widespread the smell of burning tires, causing evacuation of nearby residents and the restriction of highway and rail transportation services passing through this section.
