Actor Kim Sae-ron (23), who was put on trial for drunk driving, has released a photo of her working part-time at a café.

Kim Sae-ron posted three photos on her social media story around 11 am on the 1th. The post came about 3 months after he posted an apology for drunk driving on May 5 last year.

The photo showed Kim Sae-ron looking like she was working part-time at a famous coffee franchise store. Kim Sae-ron wears a coffee shop uniform, wears a mask, hat, gloves, and ties up her hair. Another photo shows Kim Sae-ron making bread under dim lighting.

At the first hearing of the DUI charge held on Jan. 8, Kim Sae-ron's defense attorney said, "The defendant is a girl impersonator and is supporting his family. We are experiencing economic hardship due to the payment of huge compensation for damages, and the Kim Sae-ron family is also suffering hardships." Kim Sae-ron revealed through his agency in November last year that his life became difficult after a drunk driving accident, so he had been working part-time at a café for a while. The photo of Cafe Alba appears to have been uploaded to prove this claim.

However, the social media post only increased the controversy. In the photo, Kim Sae-ron was tying her hair with hands wearing sanitary gloves. He was also wearing a mask at the counter, but when baking, he loosened his hair without a mask, causing a hygiene controversy.

A media outlet reported that Kim Sae-ron had never worked at the coffee franchise store. The media quoted a public relations official of the coffee franchise as claiming that Kim Sae-ron had never worked as a full-time employee at any store in the country, which sparked a "false certification" controversy.

Kim Sae-ron was driving a vehicle near Hakdong Intersection Street in Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 5 a.m. on May 18 last year when he hit a guardrail, a tree, and a transformer. The accident caused a transformer to fail and temporarily blacked out the surrounding buildings, causing damage to merchants.

The police, who responded to the report at the time of the accident, tried to measure Kim Sae-ron's blood alcohol level at the scene, but Kim Sae-ron asked for a blood draw, so they conducted a blood test. The test results showed a blood alcohol content of about 8.0 percent. This was well above the 2.0 percent threshold for license revocation.

According to the legal profession, Kim Sae-ron, who is accused of drunk driving, has hired six lawyers, two and four from two law firms. Among them were the representative lawyers of the 08 largest law firms in Korea.

Meanwhile, the prosecution sentenced Kim Sae-ron to a fine of 2 million won in the first trial. A sentencing hearing is set for April 4.
