The Tokyo Fire Department announced that a firefighter in his 50s who belongs to the Air Corps was operating a fire helicopter while the certificate required for operation had expired.

According to the Tokyo Fire Department, a firefighter in his 50s who belongs to the Air Corps had a certificate showing that he had the necessary skills to operate a firefighting helicopter. A total of 31 maneuvers were made over the course of 23 days.



Of these, 17 were dispatched to fire and emergency sites.



When the Tokyo Fire Department confirmed this month, it was found that this member had not undergone a skill examination for renewal of the certificate, and when it was confirmed with the person himself, it was revealed that the expiration date had expired. That's it.



It means that the members were wrongly aware of the time to undergo the skill examination.



Last month, the Tokyo Fire Department revealed that a firefighter in his 20s was driving a fire engine with his driver's license expired.
