In preparation for the G7 Hiroshima Summit to be held in May this year, university students who are learning about crisis management have created a leaflet in order to strengthen anti-terrorism measures on the sea and coastal areas.

This was created by three university students in the Nihon University College of Crisis Management under the guidance of a professor. presented at the meeting.

The leaflet entitled "Seven Recommendations for Preventing Terrorism" recommends keeping the ship and facilities tidy to prevent suspicious items from being left behind, as well as strictly controlling entry and exit by checking ID cards. In addition to calling for things to do, check items to be checked when patrolling, such as whether warehouses and entrances that are not normally used are locked.

The G7 Hiroshima Summit and related ministerial meetings are scheduled to be held in eight coastal cities, including Hiroshima, Miyazaki, and Niigata Prefectures. It's important to keep working," he said.

The male student who created the leaflet said, "I hope that ship and port operators will use it and play a role in safety and security."

This leaflet will be distributed to businesses through industry associations as printed or electronic media.
