She is expected during the night. In the coming years, storm Larisa will sweep the France with gusts reaching 70 to 90 km / h over a large part of the country and 110 to 110 km / h near the coast. The wind will blow even stronger in the south-east of the France with gusts that may exceed Friday 120 km / h in Languedoc and Roussillon and part of the PACA region and even 130 to 140 km / h on the ends and relief of Corsica. Due to these expected strong winds, seven departments have been placed on orange alert (Pyrénées-Orientales, Aude, Hérault, Var, Alpes-Maritimes, Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud).

The night also promises to be rough in Brittany where strong waves are expected on the coasts of the Channel and the Atlantic. Météo France has placed the four Breton departments on orange alert for risk of waves-submersion from 4 am Friday morning until 9 am the same day.
