Record broken in Loire-Atlantique. On Sunday, a 23-year-old motorcyclist was flashed at 257 km / h by a fixed radar on a road limited to 80 km / h, just after being checked at 197 km / h by the gendarmes, on a road limited to 90 km / h. These two offenses took place in the commune of Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire, according to information from the gendarmerie.

After his first speeding, he was guilty of refusing to comply and followed up with his second record speeding offence. Add to this an overtaking from the right and a continuous line crossing, riding a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 motorcycle, he was finally intercepted by the mobile platoon of gendarmes before being placed in custody.

Presented before the judicial court of Nantes on Tuesday, he was sentenced to six months in prison suspended, 870 euros fine, 10 months of license suspension and the confiscation of his motorcycle.
