The strike is expected to be very popular in the education sector. The Snuipp-FSU, the first primary school union, predicts that more than 60% of primary school teachers will be on strike on Tuesday, for the sixth day of actions that promises to be massive against the pension reform, he told AFP on Monday.

The highest rate of strikers among teachers dates from January 19, the first day of action, with 42.35% in primary and 34.66% in secondary according to the ministry. On 19 January, the unions had identified up to 70% of teachers on strike in primary schools and 65% in middle and high schools.
