Roberto Saviano, makes his directorial debut with "Sono ancora vivo". His exclusive ad in the specialized magazine Variety. An animated film based on the graphic novel of the same name by Saviano and in collaboration with the Israeli cartoonist Asaf Hanuka, a cartoonist who worked on 'Waltz with Bashir'. Roberto Saviano says that "My film is the story of a 26-year-old boy sentenced to death by a criminal organization, a boy who grew up in a land where, in a handful of years, the Camorra killed 4000 people. The sentence comes to that boy because he has decided to write what he sees around him. Here. That guy is me. I'm still alive is the film with which I decided to bring back to the screen what I have lived so far".
'Sono ancora vivo' is an international co-production by MAD Entertainment and Lucky Red (Italy), GapBusters (Belgium) and SIPUR (Israel). The film is written by the writer with Alessandro Rak, Filippo Bologna, Stefano Piedimonte. The project is one of nine nominees for the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award and will be presented in Bordeaux during the next Cartoon Movie to be held from 7 to 9 March.
