Selena Gomez deeply regrets turning her back on the cast of Wizards of Waverly Place after the end of the Disney series in 2012. If a deep friendship was born between her and her former colleagues during all these years of filming, the star struggled with a depression that largely degraded her relationships.

"I'm ashamed of the decisions I've made," Gomez admitted on the Wizards of Waverly Pod podcast, along with Jennifer Stone and David DeLuise, who played the characters of Harper Finkle and David Russo, respectively.

"I didn't want you to see me in the state I was in, because a) you would have told me the truth, which terrifies me, and b) I didn't want to disappoint you." And the regrets of the actress and singer are all the more profound as the filming of Wizards of Waverly Place remains one of the most beautiful moments of her career.

A priceless feeling

"I like you guys very much. I love you in a way I've never loved anyone else," Gomez said.

"I think I felt safe and that's a very hard thing for me to feel... I know you love me for who I am... You loved me sincerely, and that's all I could have asked for. I miss the trust and the unconditional bond we had so much. »
