On this afternoon, a day after the
violent rampage of an electric train, the Special Judicial Police of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport took over Miss A, a woman in her 3s, from the police and conducted an investigation.

Mr. A is accused of injuring three passengers by wielding a weapon in a subway train heading to Jukjeon Station at around 30pm yesterday.

Two women in their 6s and one man in his 3s suffered stab wounds to their faces and legs, but their lives were not affected.

Mr A told the police investigation that "a passenger asked me to turn down the sound on my mobile phone and said 'Auntie', which made me angry."

It is reported that while Mr. A was talking on a mobile phone, a female passenger in her 60s asked her to turn down the sound.

Mr. A also stated that he had been receiving psychiatric counseling for several years and had been taking prescribed medication.

The police will apply for an arrest warrant against Mr. A on special injury charges.
