In order to find an alternative to the Ehpad, "much too big and where we do not really have time to take care of people", Laura Evrard decided to become a foster family for the elderly. "We are all together, we share our lives with them"

"We eat meals together. It's really family life, the residents live with us. After that, I have my private space: I have another living room on the other side to be with my children. Because the host family is "H24". We are all together, we share our lives with them," says Laura.

"Family care still has its limits," admits Laura. For her, adapted structures remain necessary for better support for certain people. "There is a difference between accompanying until the end of life and having a person who puts himself in danger by his behavioral disorders and his illness. There, it requires support in protected structures."
