The story of a couple traveling in a vehicle on a railway bridge saved a man who was trying to make an extreme choice.

Yesterday (1st), a video was posted on YouTube "Hanmuncheol TV" titled, "I ran straight to the rescue without hesitation."

The video, which was captured by the vehicle's dashcam, showed the vehicle driving past the Golden Steel Bridge in Gongju City, North Chungcheongbuk, around 1 p.m. on January 12.

The driver, who was driving normally, spotted a man on the road, slowly slowed down, and ran towards the man.

This is because a man standing on the corner of the road tried to go to the extreme by climbing over the railing of the railway bridge and then taking a hanging position.

Seeing this, the driver was surprised and hurriedly let go of the steering wheel and ran to the man, and the passenger next to him also ran and stopped the man.

The passenger then called 119 and asked bystanders for help, who picked up the man with the driver and calmed him back down on the road.

The video informant introduced himself as the passenger's brother and said, "My sister and brother-in-law (the driver) rescued a man who was about to fall into the river," and "my sister cried together until the 119 paramedics arrived."

"The man appeared to be in his 40s and had been drinking," he said, adding, "Later, 119 paramedics arrived and the man was safely handed over."

Lawyer Han Moon-chul, who reported the case, said, "He saved the lives of the driver and passengers. Even if I was one second late, I could have made a big deal out of it," he said, adding, "It's sad, it's beautiful, thank you again."

One lawyer went on to cheer him on, saying, "It's a tough world (for a man who tried to make extreme choices), but be brave."

When the users saw this, they responded, "Blessed is that couple who ran and saved the man without hesitation", "May the world come without pain", "Your courageous act saved lives", and "The brave and good couple is amazing".
