In room 1216, something happened that day.

SBS's "I Want to Know" (hereinafter referred to as "GR"), which aired on 25 August, highlighted the death of Jeong Da-geum under the subtitle "The Truth Trapped in Room 1216."

In the early morning hours of December 2009, a female student crashed at a resort in Hwasun, South Jeolla Province. He fell from the 12th floor and was a sophomore at a high school in Busan who came to Hwasun the day before.

He was rushed to hospital but died.
The
family could not accept the sudden death of Miss Dagum, who had no problem with the fall. However, the story of the four who stayed with Miss Dageum in Room 1216 at that time was different. Choi Da-jeong, who was in the same place as Da-geum Yang until the end, stated that Da-geum

went out alone to the veranda and crashed with a scream some time later. The police summed up the case as an extreme option.

But there was something wrong. The family requested an autopsy, which revealed high levels of blood alcohol at the level of a suspended license and multiple wounds in his mouth. The autopsy doctor concluded that Miss Dagum's cause of death was multiple injuries caused by the fall, but that the wound in her mouth was caused by other external forces unrelated to the fall.

Other experts agree that these wounds are common signs of assault.

The investigation resumed at this. The foursome in Room 1216 stated that it was true that there was an altercation after drinking with Dagum, but that there was no assault and that they only grabbed their hair. And Dageum's fall was something that Dageum himself agreed.

But the other friends had a slightly different story.

The family claimed through statements from friends around them that Da-geum was forced to drink by a conspiracy of the four at the time, and that Lim Ga-young was caught gossiping about him after seeing Da-geum's mobile phone. Later, an enraged Lim Ga-young grabbed Da-geum's hair and verbally abused her, dragging her to room 1217 and causing her to hit Da-geum's head several times on the bathroom sink, claiming that this happened over several hours.

However, the police determined that there was no direct causal relationship between their quarrel and Dageum's death, as only Choi Dajeong was in the room at the time of Dageum's fall, and Dageum's footprints were found on the snowy railing. In response, Lim was ordered to do community service with only injury charges, and the case was closed with no charges against the other children.

Friends who stayed in Room 1217 on the day of the accident said it was true that Lim was in Room 1217 at the time of the crash. He added that although he pushed his face into the sink, there was no assault and he had no intention of drying off.

One informant claimed that on the day of Miss Dagum's death, she was staying about eight stories high when she heard a number of exasperated voices from women on the veranda, and about 10 minutes later she heard something falling.

The broadcast conducted a 3D simulation of the crash site based on the circumstances at the time. He concluded that it was unlikely that someone would fall by a push. The main reason was that the location of the footprint was outside.

And when Miss Dagum let go of her right hand first while holding the railing forward, she saw a fall site similar to the scene. This drew attention because it was possible with multiple quantum forces alone, but an external force could have occurred in the right hand.

Miss Dagum's friends checked the texts on Ms. Dagum's cell phone at the time and remembered what Lim Ga-young had said. Lim Ga-young tells Da-geum, who apologizes for his apologies, "Either I die. Go to school and don't pretend you know."

He also talked about the relationship between Da-geum and Ga-young. Ga-young, who was very influential in the class at the time, first approached Da-geum, who was in a hurry with his friends to prepare for the beauty college entrance exam, and after that, the trio who were friends with Ga-young also became friends with Da-geum.

But the reality was a little different. It was also revealed that Lim Ga-young had made Da-geum do unreasonable things from time to time and often took away his belongings, and that Lim Ga-young had been a perpetrator of school violence since elementary school.

Many of the victims who were abused by Lim Ga-young even thought "wouldn't it be more comfortable to die," and Da-geum must have anticipated what would happen to them after that day.

The expert also pointed out that the relationship between Da-geum and the four is not a friendship, and that the absolute power of Lim Ga-young can be felt even in the relationship between the four.

At that time, Lim Ga-young told the children in Room 1217, "Da Geum is a child who can make extreme choices if I don't see him," which was a part of the awareness of how influential his power was on him.

During the interview process, the production team met an informant who exposed the truth of the day, which was posted in the online community last year. The informant alleged that there had been an assault on Dagum in the hallway. However, this was not at all what the children of Room 1217 knew. And it turned out that the informant was someone who didn't have a face-to-face with Dageum that was not in the yearbooks of Dageum and his classmates.

In fact, the informant, who was a victim of the massacre, drew attention by revealing that he had made up a false article in the hope that the truth about Dageum's death would be revealed.

And the production team made a call to hear firsthand the story of the four, who complained of chagrin at the time. However, Lee Na-eun, who did not need to meet with the production team because nothing happened as a result of the investigation, could only hear Song Ra-hyun's position that she had no interaction with Da-geum and Ga-young, and how would she know the truth about Da-geum's fall?

Experts said, "The situation in Room 1216 10 minutes before the commitment was the most important. If so, about the situation at the time Statements were received at the nanoscale and needed to be verified. However, it is unfortunate that the perpetrator of the assault was not present at the time of the death, so he denied a causal connection to the death and did not investigate in additional detail what happened that day."

During the interview, it was discovered that the teacher at the time had severely cracked down on the students. The children speculated that the teachers, who had been drinking with the students and were drunk and did not patrol properly, had done this to avoid responsibility.

It was also revealed that the life guidance teacher at the time had the children write a police report saying that they were struggling with grades and that they were usually depressed. He also asked me to write down all these stories about drinking with my teacher.

After the incident, the teachers said, "The hardest thing is Lim Ga-young.
At that time, when asked by Da-geum to change rooms, the homeroom openly asked if there was anyone who could change the room at the time of the ceremony
, and it turned out that none of the children who were afraid of Ga-young raised their hands.

At the time, the homeroom revealed that he was not aware of Ga-young's relationship with Da-geum, and that he did not take Da-geum's request to change his room lightly.

The life guidance teacher who called the inspector also explained that he did not know much about the relationship between the students in the school, and that he was only doing so to rectify the incident.

Teachers who received only warnings and cautions at the time. In response, the expert said, "They are teachers who opened up, not protecting the victims. Would the victim have felt that the teacher or the school was a source of help? They didn't know that what was insignificant to others was such terrible pain that some people thought of death."

Finally, the broadcaster regretted the atmosphere at the time when the school bombing was not viewed as a school bomb, and raised its voice that the four members of Room 1216 should take a closer look now to see how much they physically and psychologically drove Jeong Da-geum to fall on their own, and whether there was any act that encouraged extreme choices. He explained that if the act that led to the death is discovered, criminal liability can be held in a situation where there is no statute of limitations even now.

He asked the investigating authorities to understand the sincerity of his friends and the desperate feelings of his family members who want to reveal the truth even now. And the courageous confession of the four also attracted attention by announcing that they would wait.
