Loud Kids Tour

Måneskin the story of the concert in Turin and the video of Timezone

13 thousand waiting for them in the second Italian stage

26/02/2023

"We were free, even mentally. Turin was incredible cool." There was joy and satisfaction in the first words that Måneskin addressed to journalists - as reported by Ansa - at the end of the live in front of 13 thousand people at Pala Alpitour.

"We expected slightly less involvement, but the response was remarkable, scary," Damiano said.

Two hours of concert that left the sports hall breathless sold out, in this second Italian stage of the "Loud Kids Tour", revived after the new album "Rush", released on January 20th and jumped to first place in the rankings in 15 countries and top in 5 in 20 countries. The album, produced by Max Martin and Fabrizio Ferraguzzo, has reached over 700 million streams.

To kick off the dances "Don't want to sleep", which were followed by titles that sound like posters in the production of the Roman band, such as "Gossip" - which sees in the studio version the collaboration of the legendary Tom Morello - and "Zitti e buoni", piece, the latter, with which two years ago the band won the Sanremo festival and the Eurovision Song Contest.

And immediately after it was the turn of "Own my mind" and "Supermodel", in a live studded with talent, whose rhythm was also driven by the iconic rock ballad "Coraline".

Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan, those 'bad boys' in total black by Gucci, after the success of Pesaro could only repeat in Turin.

Their unmistakable sound, flanked by the scratchy vocality of the frontman, allowed them to experiment also in acoustic, with "Vent'anni" and "Torna a casa", and then regain possession of the electric thundering with "Beggin", Gasoline", "Mammamia".

The show is framed by an innovative production consisting of over 300 lighting fixtures and almost 40 programming universes, all supported by a structure of over 150 meters, for a total weight of 40 tons.

Powerful rock, accompanied by a spectacular design of lights, in which the band also presented other songs from the last album, such as "Baby Said" and "Bla bla bla", which show all the bravado of rock'n'roll or the impetuous "Kool Kids".

An ascending climax arrived up to "I want to be your slave", among the hits of the moment also performed in the overwhelming encore immediately after "The Loneliest" and that, before the end of the concert, allowed the band to continue the tradition, hosting on stage a group of spectators, who became an active part of the live.

Transgressive, multifaceted, damn true: adjectives written in large letters in the band's business card since the beginning of this beautiful fairy tale, at X Factor, then exhibited all over the world.

Now, however, it is already time to think about the next stages of a sold out tour, between Holland, Belgium, Germany and France, and then return to Italy with Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bari, Assago and again in Europe.

And, finally, in July in the stadiums of Trieste, Rome and Milan, the last destinations of a high-adrenaline tour, which will see Måneskin protagonists in 32 concerts in the largest arenas in Europe.
