"We are not what we say. We are what we do," a quote from the French philosopher and writer, Jean-Paul Sartre, and evolved in the homeland of dreams to become dreams reality and a reality we live. The energy transition project and the development of the country from a single-income oil country in particular, from the ambition of the founding father, to the support and follow-up of the country's leaders, represented by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received the idea of adopting renewable energy, whether nuclear or solar, through the design and implementation of several projects, inside and outside the country, leading to the official opening, including international projects such as the London" or "Baynunah in Jordan" a few days ago.

The leadership has followed all stages of development and contributed to overcoming obstacles to prove to the world that we are capable of adapting circumstances, and no circumstance can deter us from our goals.

Our leadership is determined, determined and ambitious, and we quote what His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum wrote in a tweet in which he said with pride: "We accomplished our work on time as promised. We say what we do. We do what we say," which came ahead of Expo 2020 Dubai. The wise leadership of the UAE is our habit of achieving difficulties, achieving the impossible and global leadership, as the country is today a global center for holding and hosting the most important and successful events in the world, in recent years.

The adoption of hosting COP28 came as an investment in the country's global leadership in this aspect, its historical contributions, and its leadership in the actual efforts to combat the effects of global warming and climate change, and energy transition efforts, and a deserved achievement that complements the successes of Expo 2020 Dubai, as Expo City Dubai will be the venue for the World Summit and the next session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28). Our proven message is that the UAE is one of the most important global centers concerned with climate issues, and throughout the year it witnesses a series of international events, events and conferences on the file of climate change and sustainability, forming in its entirety a permanent movement that brings together world leaders, scientists and the most prominent actors in it to enhance global efforts in this regard.

The announcement of ADNOC's acquisition of a major stake in Masdar reflected the signs of strategic plans and thinking that we foresee the future and prepare us for the post-carbon era, with a world-leading Emirati model in the future renewable energy industry, strengthening the position of one of the largest pillars of the global energy transition in the five continents of the world, establishing the construction and provision of energy transition enablers locally and globally.

Those who deal with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, the President-designate of COP28 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masdar, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, are aware of his high sense of national responsibility, and the UAE leadership's assignment to him to work to lead the enabling of the energy transition, and to build an Emirati model that reflects our unique position among nations, and our contributions to global energy security and the future of humanity, is the thought that we see reflected in the development of ADNOC and its transformation from the production of fossil fuels only, to one of the most important pillars of industry and energy transition globally, by providing Pivotal components and pillars according to ambitious stages and plans.

This assignment to chair the next session of COP28 reflects a noble Emirati message and example, of the importance of all world leaders, and the oil industries in particular, assuming their humanitarian responsibilities towards humanity and the planet, to achieve the required change, and the targeted energy transition, and for the UAE to always and forever, a pioneering humanitarian model, and an example for economic and industry leaders.

The targeted media campaign reminds us of stopping the broadcast of one of the international channels covering the New Year celebrations, and focusing on a fire in a hotel building in Dubai, which turned into a global testimony to our leadership in dealing with all circumstances and changes with institutional flexibility that preceded the founders of this thought, and a practical lesson and proof of «we say what we do.. And we do what we say."
