Last month, Shawn Mendes shaved his head to the amazement of his fans. A gesture that worried more than one, especially since the artist had enough morale in the socks to cancel a tour last summer. The singer took advantage of a recent interview to explain.
No need to panic, Shawn Mendes just wanted to change his mind.
"I think everyone should know what he looks like with a shaved head," he told the Wall Street Journal. "So I felt the urgency to just shake myself a little bit."
Sobriety of dress
Before this radical mower, Shawn Mendes posed for jeweler David Yurman's new campaign. Because if the artist is rather the type to cultivate sartoriety sobriety, this does not prevent him from wearing jewelry, but in reasonable quantities, from time to time.
"I think my friends would probably say they see me wearing the same sweater every day, which is not far from the truth," he conceded.
And to give his good advice to be cool without doing too much. "But I'm a pretty chilly person. I like to wear a tank top with a cardigan and jeans, and it's kind of my outfit to go everywhere. I don't feel the need to wear tons of rings, necklaces, bracelets or whatever. Just wear what you think goes with your look, and you'll start developing your own aesthetic, which can be a very fun process. »
