Rihanna will be on stage at the 2023 Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced. The star should perform his latest hit, Lift Me Up, from the soundtrack of the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The song was nominated for Best Original Song.



Written by Ryan Coogler and Tems, and composed by Rihanna, Ludwig Görransson and the filmmaker, the song competes with Applause from the film Tell It Like A Woman, Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, Naatu Naatu from RRR and This Is A Life from Everything Everywhere All At Once.

A well-stocked list of achievements

Rihanna has already won prestigious awards including nine Grammy Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, 13 American Music Awards and seven MTV Video Music Awards. However, this is the first time that the 35-year-old star has been nominated for an Oscar.

The Oscars 2023 will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and broadcast on Canal+ for the France.
