Shootings continue to multiply in the cities of the northern districts of Marseille. Two young men, aged about twenty, were wounded Wednesday night around 23 p.m. by gunfire, reports La Provence.

Taken care of by the emergency services, their state of health did not present a life-threatening prognosis. This new episode of violence, presumably against a background of drug trafficking, took place in the Font-Vert city. These are the second and third wounded by bullets in Marseille since last Saturday. The previous week had been marked by a peak of violence with three deaths in four days in probable settling of scores.

Since the beginning of the year, five people have died in Marseille in clashes related to drug trafficking.
