Taiwanese actor Seo Hee-won has taken a strong stand against fake news by releasing her husband Koo Jun-yop's criminal record check.

Yesterday (22nd), Seo Hee-won revealed the relevant documents on his personal social media, saying, "Due to the recent fake news, Koo Jun-yup revealed that he obtained the 'No Criminal Record Certificate' provided by the South Korean Public Affairs Department in April 2022."

The document released by Seo Hee-won is a "Criminal Record Check Response Form" stamped with the seal of the South Korean National Police Commissioner, and Koo Joon-yup has no criminal history within the last 4 years, including sexual assault or domestic violence.

Seo Hee-won continued, "Regarding rumors, fiction, malicious writings and videos that affect social order, the agency will protect its rights from the law. Do not test the law yourself."

Recently, Koo Jun-yup and Seo Hee-won have been plagued by absurd rumors and fake news such as "Gu Jun-yup was denied entry to Taiwan because he did not submit a certificate of innocence" beyond divorce and infidelity.
