Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is preparing to celebrate the night of the middle of Sha'ban "Haq Al-Layla", as it has prepared a rich program of events and activities hosted by the "Al Shindagha Historical Neighborhood" during the period from February 26 to the seventh of next March, with the aim of highlighting the importance of this popular tradition and its place in the local community, which reflects the Authority's keenness to instill the heritage of parents and grandparents in the hearts of children, promote their values of giving, and spread happiness and joy in the hearts of children.

Over the course of 10 days, the "Al Shindagha Historical Neighborhood" celebrates various elements of heritage and folk arts, and its aesthetics are evident through the group of events of "Freej Feast", which kicks off on February 26, and is held in cooperation between "Dubai Culture", "Dubai Municipality" and "T-Befor Noon", and in conjunction with it, the "Communication Forum" at Al Shindagha Museum will be held from the second to the fifth of next March, the activities of "Eleven Pop Up", which showcases a variety of products and the creations of local talents, and the "Communication Forum" will witness the organization of workshops in cooperation With Sephora International.

During the fourth and fifth days of next March, the children will be on a date with a variety of entertainment activities, on top of which is the "Haq Al-Layla" track, during which they will roam between the houses of the "Shindagha Historical Neighborhood", dressed in folk costumes and carrying bags specially sewn for this occasion, to collect sweets and nuts from the owners of the houses. Children will also enjoy various workshops such as "Fenner Making", "Henna Engraving", "Jewellery Design", and "Decorating Traditional Bags" hosted in different places in the "Al Shindagha Historical Neighborhood".

Dubai Culture has prepared a special program for school students, which will be held from 6-7 March, which includes various tours in the "Shindagha Historical Neighborhood", special visits to the "House of Beauty and Decorations", which highlights local ornamental traditions and traditional costumes, as well as the "House of Faith and Life", which gives them a deep insight into the human and social meanings that abound in the Emirati heritage, in addition to workshops hosted by the "Turath Center for Traditional Handicrafts", which is an innovative cultural platform to celebrate the Emirati heritage. And traditional crafts such as: «Qard al-Burqa», «Talli» and others.

Abdullah Al Obaidli, Acting Director of Al Shindagha Museum at Dubai Culture, said: "The celebration of the night of the middle of Sha'ban reflects Dubai Culture's keenness to spread and enhance the presence of local heritage in the hearts of children, document their relationship with the Emirati heritage, and introduce them to our customs and traditions," noting that "Haq Al Layla" is an opportunity to enrich children's knowledge of its importance and place in the local community and the accompanying manifestations of joy and joy.

In celebration of "Haq Al Layla", Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood and Hatta Heritage Village will host on the seventh of next March, the activities of the "Half of Shaaban Competition" for school students, who must obtain answers to the questions of the competition by searching for them throughout the "Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood" and "Hatta Heritage Village", where they were distributed within special tracks that enable students to learn about the details of heritage sites.
