He wasted no time in breaking the Highway Code. A young man of 19 years was arrested this Friday in Nanteau-sur-Essonne (Seine-et-Marne) after an impressive speeding, reports The Republic of Seine-et-Marne.

At the wheel of an Audi A3, the young man was flashed at 159 km / h on a departmental road limited to 80 km / h around 15h. The gendarmes who intercepted him finally retained the speed of 151 km / h for the offense.

Licence and car withdrawn

It turns out that the young driver had only obtained a driver's license two months earlier. Fortunately for him and other road users, he had not consumed alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident.

His car was immediately seized by the gendarmes and impounded. The young man also had his licence revoked, which will likely be cancelled. He also incurs a fine of 1,500 euros.
