The death toll from Turkey's devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake is growing by the hour. The quake struck at 4:17 a.m. in Pazarcik district in the southern province of Kahramanmaras at a depth of 7 kilometers (4.3 miles). The violent quake was followed by a magnitude 6.4 earthquake that struck the southeastern province of Gaziantep and then a third magnitude 6.5 earthquake that affected Gaziantep again. In these terrible images, a palace in Malatya collapses under the watchful eyes of those who have sought shelter in the open.
