A nurse from the
room checks the patient's name and rushes to the other side.

He returns to explain something to another nurse and then turns back, and at that moment the patient who was coming out of the room suddenly falls into the hallway.

Kim Mo, a woman in her 50s who was recovering from cataract surgery, fell into a coma and died the next day.

[Hwang Seok-won/Husband of deceased patient: It's frustrating because it was a normal operation and the ophthalmology side would never die like this. I'll be discharged from the hospital the next day.]

The bereaved family was shocked once again when they heard the results of the autopsy.

Antibiotics that should not have been given to Kim were detected in his blood.

[Hwang Jin-so/son of deceased patient: The drug, which tested positive for a skin allergic reaction, came out in a single full dose, according to the autopsy results....]

The nurse reportedly told the investigating agency, "The injection was manufactured by someone else, and I was just administering what was prepared."

However, the prosecution concluded that "the nurse made her own injection and injected it into a vein even though she was informed that it was an ingredient that should not be administered," and applied the charge of professional manslaughter and sent it to trial.

The family, who have been waiting for the outcome of the investigation for more than three years, said they had not heard a word of apology.

[Hwang Seok-won/husband of deceased patient: In such a large hospital, whose name you can only recognize, the family who did so was shattered and did not even say a word of apology...]

The hospital said only that it had nothing to do with the reporter's questions.

The family filed a civil lawsuit against the hospital.
