He was far, far from his native land when he landed in Morlaix. Invited to the MX Arts Tour in June, the artist from Bali Wild Painting has nevertheless left his mark in the small town of Finistère. On the gable of a house on the rue de Brest, the Balinese had made an exceptional painting as part of the street-art festival. His "Message in a bottle" was crowned Sunday by being elected most beautiful work of street-art of 2022. Established by the site Trompe l'oeil, this ranking is the result of public votes and a jury of connoisseurs. Last year, he had already seen a work made as part of the Morlaix festival triumph by crowning "The First Aid Kit", by the Dutch artist Leon Keer, as recalled by Le Télégramme.

This year, it is once again the small town of Finistère that has won. Of the more than 14,000 votes of Internet users, the work showing a young girl locked in a bottle collected 4,616, to which must be added a real plebiscite of the jury. "Today, more and more people are trapped and alone in their congested world... No one listens to their desperate efforts for communication, help and humanity," the artist said.

Less visible to Internet users, the work of the French artist Seth ranks second. This trompe-l'oeil painted on a building in Le Mans (Sarthe) had already placed fifth in a world competition organized by Street Art Cities.

It should be noted that Brittany places another of its representatives on the podium with the work of Aero made in Aurec-sur-Loire, near Saint-Etienne. The Rennes-based street artist is the only one to have placed two of his works among the most beautiful of 2022.
