An investigation was opened in the Val-d'Oise on Monday after the testimony of a 14-year-old boy. The latter explained to the police that he had been kidnapped and sequestered for several hours by an individual, reports La Gazette du Val-d'Oise.

The victim was leaving the school at 17 p.m. in Saint-Gratien when a man armed with a knife threatened him and forced him into his vehicle. He was held there for four hours without any particular abuse, he said.

Released on another commune

The teenager was finally released by the suspect in Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise), in the evening. It was there that the victim was discovered in shock by a gym guard, who alerted police around 21 p.m.

The investigation opened for "kidnapping with sequestration of a minor" was entrusted to the police of Argenteuil. The teenager has not yet been able to give details to identify his abductor.
