Former captain of the women's France team Amandine Henry was summoned Tuesday in coach Hervé Renard's preliminary list for the 2023 World Cup. The 33-year-old midfielder, who has not been selected since 2020, is one of 26 players onRenard's pre-list.
Henry touches his third World Cup, scheduled from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. Star striker Marie-Antoinette Katoto and winger Delphine Cascarino have indeed declared forfeit.
