The 2022 China Basketball Open series of activities and regional competitions opened on the 16th at the Gymnasium in Houma, Shanxi Province. The tournament aims to further promote the development of Chinese basketball and accelerate the popularization of basketball culture in China.
The regional round is divided into two stages, the group stage and the qualifying stage, and the participating teams will compete in six days of competition to determine the round of 6. The qualifiers had been held in 64 cities across the country. The round of 16 will be determined to enter the national finals.
