Björn "Böna" Johansson has passed away after a long illness. Johansson won five World Championship medals with Tre Kronor.
His jersey has been hoisted to the ceiling in Victoriahallen where Nybro Vikings play their matches since 2014. He represented Södertälje SK during all his World Championship medal wins. "Bean" ended his career after the 1982/83 season. The Swedish Ice Hockey Association has awarded Johansson the honorary badge Stora grabbar.
