Since last week, Cyclone Minerva has hit central Italy, where the overflow of several rivers has caused material damage and forced the evacuation of populations. On Sunday, the sixth Grand Prix of the season should be held at the Imola circuit, but the World Championship organization and local authorities are studying its cancellation.

The Santerno River almost borders the asphalt and its flood has already flooded the lower area of the enclosure. In a red alert zone, the cancellation of the Grand Prix is a possibility on the table.
