Valencia announced that it would appeal the punishment. In Brazil, people are taking to the streets for him. Seven people were arrested on Tuesday, charged with hate crimes in two separate cases. Three people were suspected of having racially insulted JúNior on Sunday in the match of the "Royals" in Valencia. In eight of the nine racist incidents reported to the judiciary this season, Vinicius was the victim of hostility.
