Shohei Ohtani of the MLB Angels had one hit against the Red Sox. On the other hand, Red Sox player Masanao Yoshida did not get a hit and his consecutive hits stopped at "1".

The Angels and Red Sox will meet in Anaheim, home of the Angels, on 3 June for the final three games of the season. Ohtoni and Yoshida, who helped the team win the Japan WBC = World Baseball Classic title, will play in Anaheim.
