The Rugby World Cup in France kicks off on 9 September, and the Japan National Team will hold a training camp in Japan from next month onwards. The Japan-roster for the World Cup will be narrowed down to 8 players after domestic training camps and test matches, and will be announced in August before the tournament.
In addition, nine players who have never played for the Japan national team before were selected, including center OSADA Tomoki, who won the Rookie of the Year award in League One.
