Former Dutch international Quincy Promes has to go to court. Together with an accomplice, he is said to have imported "several hundred kilograms" of cocaine.
The preliminary hearing will take place on Monday, according to local media. In another case, the prosecutor's office had demanded two years in prison for promes just last March. The 31-year-old Promes scored seven goals in 50 international matches. He played his last game for the Oranje at the European Championships in the summer of 2021 against the Czech Republic.
