A commemorative stone in the shape of the foot of marathon runner Yuki Kawauchi will be dedicated to a shrine in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture. A stone engraved with the motto of the right person will also be dedicated.

The stone is scheduled to be unveiled in mid-July, and visitors can put their feet together. The shrine is said to be beneficial for the health of the legs and waist, and marathon athletes and others come to worship there. For more information on the shrine, visit www.kawagoehachimangu.org.
