Former Spain national soccer team member Andres Iniesta of J1 and Vissel Kobe will leave the team this summer. Iniesta will hold a press conference soon to clarify the reasons for his decision to leave.
In 2010, he moved to Vissel from Spanish first division powerhouse Barcelona and won the club's first title in the Emperor's Cup. He pushed the team to the best four in the ACL = Asian Champions League that year, and to third place in J1 in 2020, the highest ever.
