Andres Iniesta, 39, announced that he would be leaving J5 Vissel Kobe after five years this summer. In his first interview since announcing his departure, he revealed his struggles leading up to the decision and his thoughts on Japan.
Iniesta wants to use the time he has left in Japan to use his experience to help his new club, which is only one month away from the start of the J2021 season. He will play a friendly match against Barcelona at the National Stadium on the evening of 1 September.
