Tre Kronor has played the entire group stage in Tampere, Finland, and is not in the mood for a lightning visit for a quarter-final in Riga. The host nations Finland and Latvia are guaranteed to play their eventual quarter-finals on home ice and that makes it a complicated puzzle.
Tre Kronor's final group stage match against the USA will be played at 15.20 and broadcast starting at 14.45 on SVT1 and on SVt Play. "If we had to choose, we would prefer to be here, of course," says assistant coach Nicklas Rahm.
