Honda returns to Formula 1 as an engine supplier for the Aston Martin racing team. Japanese company had withdrawn a year and a half ago because of the high costs.
New engine regulations will take effect in two and ahalf years. Aston Martin is the surprise team of the 1 Formula 2023 season and is currently second in the constructors' championship behind Red Bull. Red Bull will get drive units from the US group Ford from 2026. Audi will also enter Formula 2026 in 1 together with the Sauber team.
