Tennis player Alexander Zverev has been a type 1 diabetic since childhood. He usually injects himself with insulin when changing sides, only at the French Open he is supposed to leave the court for it.
Confusion had arisen when he took a break after the second set in the round of 1 at theFrench Open to give himself an insulin injection. "I told the referee that there had to be a clear structure. Then that's no problem at all," said the 26-year-old.
