Young England international Jude Bellingham joins Real Madrid on July 1 for six seasons and a €103 million transfer, plus bonuses of up to 30 percent of that amount. This is BVB's second biggest transfer after the departure of Ousmane Dembélé in the summer of 2017 to FC Barcelona for €105 million (+ €42 million bonuses).
This transfer comes a little more than 72 hours after the announcement of the departure from Real Madrid of the French center forward Karim Benzema, who made the choice to leave for Saudi Arabia.
