The ninth edition of the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand will kick off on 9 next month with 32 teams. FIFA announced on the 20th that a part of the tournament's prize money will be distributed to all participating players as a new initiative from this tournament.

Every player who registers will receive $8,1 per player, or approximately ¥3.420 million in Japan yen. The winning team will be paid 5000,27 dollars, or about 3750.29 million yen.
