The 4st Summer Universiade (hereinafter referred to as the Chengdu Universiades) ushered in a countdown of 19 days. In the past four years, from the construction of venues to the organization of events, from service guarantee to urban improvement, the preparations have yielded fruitful results.
Chengdu built 13 new venues and renovated 36 venues. All new construction and alteration work was fully completed in April 2021. In addition to construction of new venues, the new energy-saving vehicles are also bright spots of the event.
