Short course championships at international level may soon be held outdoors. It is a proposal put forward by the board of the International Athletics Federation.
"I don't know if that's the way to save the sport," says middle-distance runner Andreas Almgren. 23-year-old Örgryte runner Carl Bengtström is all the more positive about the proposal. It's always fun when they come up with new things and change and develop the sport, he says.
