Ukrainian tennis star Elina Svitolina was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the French Open. Two straight sets (6-4, 6-4) were required for Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka to knock out the Ukrainian.
After the match, Svitoline chose not to face up with Sabalenska to shake hands at the net. The Ukrainian was then met with scattered boos from the stands in Paris. Sabalentka is ready for the semifinals where she will face Karolína Muchová.
